The Lady Cans is an all-female robotics team based in Austin, Texas. We are both a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team and a Girl Scout troop, putting us in a unique position to help fuel young women’s interest in STEAM and STEAM-related careers.
Every year, we coordinate an array of STEAM outreach efforts within our community, while also designing, building, and programming a robot to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC).
Our team's support of females in STEAM creates a ripple effect that starts with individuals and radiates outward to impact the entire community and beyond.
